Prompted by my friend, Gill to create some single earrings, so she could mix and match. I made some more which I have just listed on my Etsy Page. Not being a person with any piercings at all, it is always good to get feedback from my "holey" friends. Now listed on my Etsy page
"A gift box of 9 singleton earrings, mix & match your look with drops made from wire reclaimed from TVs, electrical wire, buttons, yellow string, bought wire & with hooks made of coloured niobium to compliment the colours by ABScraft - Alison Bailey Smith.
Measurements range from from 3.5 in length to 4.5cm (hook to tip of drop) and width of 1.6 to 2.2 cm.
Niobium is an inert metal and of the same family of metals as titanium, a current can be put through the metal to achieve different colours and I have selected colours to compliment those included in each drop (Blue, Purple or pink).
The earrings are supplied with plastic butterflies and a gift box (made of recycled materials with removable branding to encourage the re-use of box for other gifts by the recpient) and delivered with a card that defines the components used in construction. I reuse outer packaging for shipping. Apologies for environmental reasons - I am only shipping with the UK at the moment."
