Flip your fin in the bin

The Momentary Art Project (which I published about in an earlier post) is starting to build up steam.

We need your flippers! In the next few days you will be able to "flip your fins in our bins" courtesy of Veolia Environmental Services at Clatterbridge, Bidston and West Kirby recycling plants along with buoys and other small plastic items relating to marine/water for an installation for a green Christmas window display in Marine Point in New Brighton so listen up and look out for the nod when I tell you to take your old or broken (but clean fins/flippers etc) to the dump.

Many thanks to Lucy of Veolia.

UPDATE

FIN BINS IN PLACE FROM Wednesday 21st of November 2012 until 9th of December 2012 and The Green Community Shop and Centre  in Oxton will also collect your bright plastic marine related items - paddles etc...

We also have a new blog for the project http://www.momentaryartproject.blogspot.co.uk/
